NMBio is committed to keeping New Mexico’s life science community connected and informed with innovative, in-person and virtual opportunities to educate, share best practices, and encourage strategic connections.

Knowledge Fair

This annual day-long event takes place in the fall. Traditionally, it’s held at CNM’s Workforce Training Center in Albuquerque. In addition to keynote speakers and panel discussions focused on current topics of interest, NMBio members and BIO Business Solutions service providers can host table-top exhibits. 

Lunch & Learn

Virtual and in-person meetings held during the lunch hour with featured speakers to engage and educate our audience on topics related to the bioscience and biomedical industries.

Member Appreciation Luncheon 

Annual luncheon where NMBio recognizes the achievements and scientific breakthroughs of its members.

BIO International Convention 2024

The BIO International Convention is the largest and most comprehensive event for biotechnology, representing the full ecosystem of biotech with more than 18,500 industry leaders from across the globe.

Annual Legislative Luncheon

Held in Santa Fe in December or early January prior to the start of the State’s legislative 30-day or 60-day sessions. Past guest speakers have included the Speaker of the House, leaders from the Democratic and Republican parties as well as governmental affairs representatives from BIO, J&J, Amgen, Novo Nordisk, and Genentech.
